Is the military your next step?
If you are planning on joining the military after graduation, then you must take the ASVAB. The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple choice test, administered by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command, used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces. The ASVAB will be offered in October for seniors. This test is free and will take place at West Charlotte during 1st and 2nd period. For more questions, see Ms. Polk

If you're a junior or senior: send a text to 81010 with the message @wc1516 If you're a freshman or sophomore: send a text to 81010 with the message @westcha Have you taken the SAT/ACT?
The Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and the American College Testing (ACT) are used by colleges and universities to determine how successful you would be at that school. You MUST take them and do as well as you can. Even if you have to take them multiple times, colleges and universities always take your highest score. Come to my office if you have any more questions about either test or about fee waivers.
