What is the FAFSA?
The FAFSA is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It is used by the US Department of Education to determine your student's financial need based on income, assets, and household information. FAFSA completion gives you access to grants, loans, and work-study. The FAFSA is REQUIRED for your student if he or she wishes to apply for financial aid.
